What we've been doing

So I have no pictures but thought I’d give a little update about whats been going on around here. Last week we took Gavin to an endocrinologist and tested his thyroid and growth hormone. We then had a developmental specialist and physical therapist come to our home and evaluate him. The tests came back normal which is kinda good but we still don’t know what’s going on. It’s going on 4 months now that he hasn’t grown at all and it’s affecting him developmentally. He used to roll and he doesn’t anymore and he is no where near crawling or even scooting. He’s been entered into a program where they will come out on a regular basis and work with him, hopefully that will help get him back on track. As for Tayla she is just growing up so fast! We made the dreaded switch to a “big girl bed” last week and it went great. She has slept really well and has only gotten out of bed a couple times but never come out of her room. I’m really happy and now we are on to potty training. Today is the first day so we’ll see. She is talking more and more each day too and says the funniest things sometimes. She is definitely two but overall a very good girl!

Other than the kids we had Nelson, Nate’s younger brother, come visit us for the weekend and loved it. Tayla completely adores him and both Nate and I enjoyed getting to spend time with him. I was worried having him here would make our house seem even smaller but it didn’t change one bit. In fact we didn’t want him to leave! We loved having him and are excited to get lots more time with him since he just got a job in Utah. Other than that life has been pretty normal - busy:) Happy March!
