Ducks

So yesterday we went to go feed the ducks. It was such a beautiful day that we HAD to get outside. We decided to try a new place a little closer to our house that we had found and it was so fun! The ducks were very friendly almost too friendly and Tayla understood the feeding the ducks concept this time better than she had the last time we went. She was so excited to see them and chase them and quack at them. She was a bit torn though as to whether it was more fun to feed them or feed herself. So it turned into one bite for the ducks and one bite for Tayla. She was really cute when throwing the bread to she would hold it far back like she was winding up and then throw it but she would make a sound effect each time she threw:) If you listen closely you can hear it over the loud qucking. There were so many ducks that just surrounded us on all sides and they kept creeping closer and closer to Tayls who was holding many full slices in her hands; I think they were hoping to snatch them away:) At the end we started feeding them out of our hands and they would come right up to Nate and I. Tayla decided to try it without us realizing although she didn’t understand the flat hand part and the duck gobbled her whole hand! She turned and looked at us with the biggest eyes not sure what to think and then started crying. I thinkit shocked her more than it actually hurt but it sure was funny to us. She had this look like she couldn’t believe the duck would do that to her! Anyway here are some fun pictures and videos.
