Our weekend

So I haven't been real great about posting lately but life has been busy. Here are a few updates though. We took Gavin back to the Dr. for a follow-up on his double ear infections (and I took Tayla so he could peek at her ears too), wanted to make sure that both their ear infections were completely cleared up. Unfortunately my suspicions were right and both kids STILL had double ear infections, so onto a stronger antibiotic and we go back in 2 weeks. We also got Gavins test results back and I finally feel like we are getting a little closer to figuring out why he isn't growing! The results from his stool test showed there was a reducing substance in his stool which basically means he's not metabolizing carbohydrates like he should be. We've got an appointment with a GI specialist next. In other news Tayla is still doing great with potty training and rarely has an accident. I can't even remember when the last poopy accident was and the only time she really has wet accidents is when she knows a bathroom isn't available (in the car). The best part about it is that since we started we have not used one single pullup or diaper! Yay Tayla! Life is good ( except that it's snowing) and the weather has been beautiful (but now it's snowing). This weekend Nate and his brother Nelson had fun playing the guitar and drums together. Tayla had fun rocking out on the sidelines and then got a little drumming action of her own. Thanks Uncle Nel! After that I got to run away for a bit and the boys took Tayla to the park where she got to "climb" her first tree:)
