It's a ....

So for any of you who didn't get the annoying text message or heard from someone who got the annoying text message, we had our ultrasound today and it's official we are having a baby! What kind of baby a human baby! What gender human baby? It's a Boy!!!

Myspace Comments - Its A Boy!

We are very excited to even the odds at our home! For those of you who have asked or are going to ask, no, we do not have a name yet. Ideas, plenty of them and if you have some feel free to share but no, no name is official so for now he will remain baby boy. And now much to my delight and dread I have lots to do before he arrives starting with painting the nursery and buying a not pink car seat! As many of you know Tayla is a very girly girl with everything pink from her carseat and changing table to her walls and clothes. I refuse to have a boy with anything to do with pink (we've had enough - even though I love it). And if any of you have boy clothing you want to get off your hand mine are open as I'm pretty sure that Tayla has/had nothing gender neutral. Do I regret that you ask? No! Tayla is a girl and I love it along with all of her very girl things, we had fun but it's time for all that fun boy stuff too!

And to add to the fun here are the wonderful ultrasound pictures that usually only a mother loves, but I'm posting them anyway.

Warning!! The following pictures may contain some nudity, continue looking at your own risk!

His cute little foot that causes me such pain at such an early age!

And for those that are having a hard time believing me, yes he really is a he!

So I thought this picture was as obvious as it gets but according to Nate and my mother they couldn't tell what they were looking at. So the explanation: You are looking from the bottom up, two legs with his boy part circled in between his legs. If you still don't understand please bring this issue up with your parents.

Oh and P.S. to all of you who are wondering about my quest to gain weight well, good news and bad news. Bad news is that according to my scale I not only did not gain weight I lost half a pound (and that was with my clothes on) but the good news is is that it doesn't matter! My backup plan (that I didn't tell anyone about) worked! I scheduled the ultrasound on a day that I knew the Dr was not in the office and since it was just an ultrasound I was hoping that without the Dr there the nurse who escorted me back to the ultrasound room would not check the chart (after all there was no need to it was just an ultrasound) and I was totally right they didn't weigh me, so they don't know, and they won't know for another 3 weeks now! Haha I won, or something. Anyway now my time has been extended and I now have 3 weeks to gain that pound and I'm pretty sure I can do it! Yay!
