So I'm sure I will get a few nasty comments for saying this but it's my blog and my problem so I will vent. Pregnancy. Really starting to bug me. Some how without knowing it each time I have gone down one - two sizes. Sounds great right? Not so much. I go into pregnancy thinking hey I've got my wardrobe don't need to spend all the money I did last time....HA! Not the case. I have 14 pairs of maternity jeans ranging from small to large and 6 to 10. One would believe SOMETHING would fit I have more tops than I can count again ranging from small to large. SOMETHING should fit. But NO almost nothing does. My small and size 6 jeans are falling off of me. one pair sort of fits because it has belt-loops so I can wear a belt and cinch it tight but they still look funny, so I'm back to non maternity jeans even though I am halfway through my pregnancy! Maybe someday I'll feel like spending money and go see if x-small or 4's fit but I have a hard time buying those because I don't think I'm that small. Then we come to shirts and again small are too big, I have a few shirts that are fitted maternity and they work, I wear them but really I'm living in Shade shirts and a few other non maternity tops. Really it's not a huge deal because the shades work fine but *sigh* I'm getting really sick of the plain colors, no patterns, no designs. And really all this does is motivate me even less to get dressed in the morning (or afternoon). And if we keep having kids at the rate we are I think I might wither away to nothing. Good weight loss program I guess. And for all of you who have the opposite problem I'm sorry. And for those of you who have small maternity clothes that you want to donate my doors are always open:)
On a good note my ultrasound technician is going to be back in town next week and then we can find out the sex of the baby which also means one more week for getting your vote in then I'll have to try to be creative and think of another riveting poll. Any ideas?
