9 thoughts of Tayla Mae...

1. I wonder how many criscut fries I can fit into my mouth at the same time.....I think I have 3 so far.....Let me get another!


2. If I pull really hard on Zeke's hair he growls and makes a funny noise and I giggle.


3. Zeke's food is so yummy I don't know why mommy won't let me have some. I'll get it when she's not looking!


4. I tell mommy that I'm done with my bottle and ready for a nap by throwing it as far as I can with my eyes closed


5. The clip on my binkie tastes way better than my binkie (see picture below)


6. If I whine long enough and pull on mommy's pant legs she'll pick me up!


7. I can fit the whole hot dog in my mouth at once!


8. If I scrunch my nose when I smile it makes people laugh....watch!


9. Daddy can always make me laugh when he pretends to be like Zeke; always!

Well my baby is 9 months old today and growing up way to fast! Little update on her and what she's doing. She crawls all over the place and quite fast if she wants to (trying to get somewhere before I stop her!) She would rather be on her feet and is constantly pulling herself up on things. She will even let go and stand on her own until she realizes what she just did:) She waves hello and goodbye. She mimics Zeke (see imitations). She is starting to learn some sign language and will do "all done" and occasionally "milk". She is also a very big chatter box, while no real words have come out of her mouth intentionally, she will talk to her toys the entire 45 minute drive to grandma and grandpas! She eats a ton to the point that she is eating close to adult size portions yet she still is gaining no weight. ( I'm very jealous) Today she weighed in at 16 1/2 pounds only a pound bigger than her 6 month check up and leaving her all the way down in the 15th percentile. Her height is 28 in which puts her in the 70th percentile. and her head as it always has been is right at 50 percent. So my homework from the dr is to give her some more fattening foods such as ice cream and whipping cream and butter and sour cream and cheese, all those high fat things that most of us try to stay away from:) I'm supposed to mix it with her foods to give her more calories......I think she's going to be in heaven and Grandpa is already excited to give her ice cream!
