Our drive

We're home! It's so nice to be home but I was definitely sad to leave and miss everyone. We left bright and early Wednesday morning at 7 am. I have been dreading this drive and trip for months now and was beyond pleasantly surprised and how truly wonderful it was. We made the drive down in 11 hours. We stopped three times for food, gas and feeding Gavin. Gavin I think we heard two sounds from him the whole drive and both were squeals of delight. He never once cried or even fussed! I honestly don't know if he slept or not but every now and then I would reach my hand back and take a picture and everytime he was awake.....lol so who knows.

Tayla did just as good! She never cried and was so good. At the very end of the trip she was a little whiny but not bad at all and let's face it I was even whiny:) For the first part of the trip she just looked out the window! She fell asleep after a couple hours and when she woke up the scenery was not nearly as interesting so she looked at books and then I let her watch a movie. She was so excited and thought it was the coolest thing (especially since I let her hold it!)

Zeke slept and Nate put big earphones on so that he didn't have to listen to anything. All in all we all arrived anxious to get out of the car, ready for dinner but happy:)

Lol, sorry for those of you who didn't know. We went to Pinedale Arizona to spend the Thanksgiving week with Nate's Grandparents and all the aunts and uncles and cousins from that line of family. Not everyone was able to make it but with the part that did we had I think aroun 45 people there....that's a lot of mouths to feed and beds to make!
