Because I have been given much

I too must give.

My sweet sister-in-law Nichole brought this family to my attention yesterday. The whole time I was reading about their family all I could think of was how lucky me and my family are. How much we are blessed, how much we have been given. Baby Mia is the same age as our little Gavin, almost to the day. I can't imagine how I would have gotten through the last four months without having him here with me to hold. In a nutshell Mia will not live without a heart transplant but in order to get on a national transplant list, her family, the McDonalds, need $450,000 in the bank. I can't imagine being a young family needing that much up front. I know times are tight for everyone but I also know we all have a couple extra dollars lying around. I think this is a wonderful opportunity to share and help. I think it's a little way for all of us to appreciate how much we have and how much we all have been blessed.

Nichole is selling some adorable holiday banners that she's making and donating everything to the McDonalds. I've made a donation, small, but it'll help and am currently thinking up some scheme to raise more money. I've decided that I am going to sell premade scrapbook pages. I have had many people ask me in the past but I just didn't know where to start; I guess now is as good a time as any!

So it will be a 12x12 double layout, semi-custom, each page filled with fun embellishments. Anyone interested? Here are some examples of pages I've done in the past (sorry the pictures aren't real clear). All ready for you to just stick the pictures on the page. I've also made full baby books (13 double pages) one fore every month up to a year and an additional newborn page. After a good amount of research I've decided to price them a $9.00/double page layout which seem very low compared to anyone else that makes anything similar. If you're interested in a lot let me know and we can negotiate prices. Tell all your friends and family:) I'm willing to ship as well. Then I will donate the money to the McDonalds.
