Web Wednesday #2

Happy October! Can you believe it?! I sure can't. It doesn't feel like October, weather or mentally! Well what a way to start of October but with some wonderful new sites! With Christmas just around the corner and I'm sure everyone's budgets are just as tight as mine who doesn't LOVE a good deal?! So this week is dedicated to good deals, start your shopping early (or this may be late for some of you;)) with some of these sites to help.

First is a blog that I happen to run across, somehow, a couple of weeks ago, I really have no clue. Regardless of how I found it I'm glad I did. It's called Pennies in my Pocket She gives a few deals every day along with some occasional really good recipes (my fav. is her Slow-cooker Thursdays). The deals are awesome and have a ton of variety. You can add it to your Googlr reader from last week and it's easy to check her deals each day:) Pennies In My Pocket
Second is one that I think many of you know about but I just love it all over again each day. Woot.com I love it first because let's face it, it's a very cool name and second who doesn't love a great deal. Well Woot is the one to give it to you. Every day they have a new deal, one deal a day and they really are good deals plus it's only $5 shipping whether it's a 65" LCD TV ( last Monday's deal) or a toilet paper roll dispenser with a built in radio (we all need one of those - last Wednesday's deal). I've never bought anything from there but I've wanted to so bad - like when you see a good deal and you want to buy it just because it's a REALLY good deal regardless of whether you need it. I check it every day when I check everyone's blogs. I mean come on, who doesn't love a good deal?!Try it, buy something, tell me about it!

And with all the holidays right around the corner what always seems to come side by side with the holidays? Family and food, lots and lots of food. So let's save on the groceries too! Who doesn't love to leave the grocery store with a receipt that say you should have paid $200 + for the wonderful dinner you're planning and yet your total came to $100, or maybe $75, or possibly just over $50?! Some may be thinking, no way that's not possible, but it is, I've done it and I only speak the truth:) Here's a fun little site to help you get there, PPGazette. So go and search and print and save! Hurray for saving money!
