Introducing Gavin Keith Crandell

This is Taryn's mom--I told Taryn I would try to post some pictures of Gavin. First of all, I am not nearly the photographer that Taryn is and secondly, I don't have a clue how to do this so I hope it works.

Of course, in my very unbiased opinion, Gavin is very cute. Bias or not, he definitely has lots of very blonde hair.



Initially Tayla showed considerable interest and curiosity about this little thing everyone was holding.



However, she soon lost interest and focused more on Mom's cheesecake!



At one point during our visit the nurse came in to check Gavin and, as babies do, he cried when he was unwrapped. His crying made Tayla cry--hopefully she will get used to it and not react like that everytime Gavin cries or Taryn is in for some very long nights!!





We were all thinking that Gavin looks a lot like Tayla did when she was born so when I got home I looked up some of Tayla's pictures and I think he definitely does. What do you think?

Taryn looks very good for someone who just had a baby, and other than being tired, I think she is feeling well also. I know she is looking forward to getting a good night's rest tonight. Gavin is doing well and nursing well. He has funny toes but has all ten toes and fingers.

Well I hope this works so you can at least see a little of Gavin. I know you will appreciate Taryn's blogging after making it through this one! :) But I have to say, this was kind of fun!
