Canada highlight

Okay so I'm going to finally finally finish up the Canada trip. So...reunion, dinner, dance, so much fun, and then the highlight of Tayla's trip was that she got to ride a horse! This was her first "real" horse ride. She had only ridden one other time and it was on one of the little ponies at Thanksgiving point that walk round and round... She was in heaven! Big thanks to the Dickies for letting her:) When we first put her on the horse she held on tight with both hands but had a smile bigger than Canada! After a while she relaxed, put one hand in her pocket and was a complete natural:) It was so much fun to see her. She was so excited and seemed to be in absolute heaven, which of course made me in complete heaven. Towards the end of the ride she was so comfortable on the horse that she had BOTH hands in her pockets and wasn't even holding on!

Then we thought we would give Gavin a little turn.

When we took him off he was SO mad. He loved the horse ride too and screamed for so long when we made him get off! It was definetly one of the highlights. I think we are going to need to find some local horses that we can borrow:) Anyone got some??
And then before we left the farm we also went out to the pasture to see a baby calf that was only a day old! It was so much fun and reminded me again just how great of a country girl I'd be;)
