Ice cream changes lives

So a little update on the worst week ever. Thursday night I met a friend for some much needed ice cream and from there things started to change....Friday I had a day off of babysitting which while I wouldn't have admitted it at the time very much needed. I was able to get out of the house and finish my Christmas shopping with the most brilliant idea ever for Grandparents gifts....I'll post after Christmas or email you personally if you are that curious:) Now all I need is one last gift for my dear sweet brother who is impossible to chop for, at least impossible in my eyes since I've received no ideas:-/ Then halfway through the day I got a call from a scrapbook store that I won a drawing. Woo hoo! I won a silhouette machine! For those of you who don't know what it is it's a really expensive die cutting machine that you hook up to you computer and it can be a vinyl cutter too. So much fun and I got it for $0.00!!! So fabulous!

Then Saturday I got the much desired kitchen! Not the one from the mean lady but I found another that is better! Twice as expensive too but oh well. I'm so excited for Christmas morning! Tayla is going to be so excited! Santa has done a fabulous job!

I also got some ornaments for our tree that now looks quite lovely considering the way we started off. I'll post those soon. Sunday the kids were great at church, I'm down another jean size, and yesterday I won a DVD in a drawing that I entered. Apparently with all my recent winnings I should have enter the lotto instead...Oh well:) And other than Tayla truly entering the terrible twos and me getting a bit too close to selling her to anyone that wants her, life is generally pretty good right now! (Knock on wood!)
