Our big boy!

Gavin is two months old today and doing awesome. I say he's our big boy but really he's still just a little squirt. He went to the Dr. today and had his first round of shots. He did great. turned bright red but quickly stopped as soon as he was held. He now weighs 10 pounds 4 oz. and is 23 inches long which puts him in way down in the 10th% for weight and the 60% for height. I guess he's taking after Nate:) He is such a joy to have. If he isn't sleeping or eating he is smiling from ear to ear. He is "talking" a lot too. We are all having so much fun with him, even Tayla!:) Thankfully he is a very tolerant baby and doesn't complain at all as his big sister "abuses" him in her effort to "help" and "be sweet"; you know like shoving the binkie in his eye, nose, and mouth when he doesn't want it. He's been good to his momma too. He goes to bed at 9:00 every night and for over a week now the earliest he's woken up is 6:00, although lately it's been more like 7:30. He wakes up to eat and then goes right back to sleep for another 3-4 hours. I love it because I'm getting good sleep and I get some alone time with Tayla in the mornings:) Life is going good and we are off to Colorado tomorrow to visit my two sisters and Nate's brother. We'll post about our trip and be sure to add pictures as soon as we get back!:)
