Ode to the craetive mind

So my brother Justin turned 25 on Friday and we had a birthday dinner for him today. I have to blog about this just because I am so proud of my work:) I branched out this weekend and made an airplane cake for him. As many of you may know I love to make shaped cakes but have always stuck to the basics like a heart, football, barbie. Well I decided that a rectangle cake was just not good enough for Justin, unfortunately something easy like a football or baseball just doesn't go for my brother and the only thing I could think of is a airplane, which was not easy but the results we wonderful. Four cake mixes later and a bit of frustration these were the results.





So Happy Birthday Justin you are now halfway to fifty!

Also as a sidenote since I'm writing about Justin I feel I should brag and congratulate him publicly on recently receiving his multi-engine commercial rating. He has passed the tests and can actually be hired to fly now. Congrats Justin!
